Ok, back in the day I was a bartender in a disco bar named Adams in Montgomery, AL. They specialized in frozen drinks, even a few ice cream drinks and in its time it was a hoppin’ place. Lighted dance floors and disco balls, what a trip! It is also where I first heard Jimmy Buffett (“Little Miss Magic” ) and I’ve never stopped listening since.
Classic Margarita: Easy as 1,2, 3
1 part fresh lime juice
2 parts triple sec
3 parts tequila
You can serve it on the rocks or shake it with crushed ice or make it frozen by blending in shaved ice, the finer the better. To add salt to the rim take a lime wedge and rub it on the rim of the glass (before you add the drink) and dip in some salt in a saucer.
